It is known that OnePlus will release their next flagship smartphone later this year. Also, the launch is most likely going to take place next month, that is in May 2018. Because OnePlus is also expected to release the ‘T’ version of their flagship same as the OnePlus 3T, 5T, and 6T. The launch of OnePlus 7T will likely happen by the month of November 2019.
Focusing on the launch of OnePlus 7, we are in for a change this time. OnePlus seems to have made a decision of launching OnePlus 7 series rather than just the OnePlus 7. The OnePlus 7 series this time will consist of OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro. Also, reports are that one of the variants of OnePlus 7 will be called OnePlus 7 Standard Edition.
According to the same reports, OnePlus 7 will be a spec-bump from the OnePlus 6T. The design of OnePlus 7 Standard Edition is expected to be same as its predecessor. This means that the OnePlus 7 SE will have waterdrop notch and dual rear cameras. But OnePlus 7 SE’s primary camera at the back might be a 48MP one.
Coming to the OnePlus 7 Pro, it is where most of the changes will take place. The OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to be a major jump from the OnePlus 6T. First of all, this device will finally have a Super AMOLED Quad HD+ display. Also, it will have a slightly larger 4000 mAh non-removable battery. The display on OnePlus 7 Pro is also said to feature a 90Hz refresh rate. Right now, Razer Phone and Asus ROG are the only ones who have displays with refresh rates more than 60 Hz.
It is also reported by Android Central that OnePlus 7 Pro will have Warp Charge 30. This is similar to Warp charge seen on OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition which had super fast charging at 30W. On the other hand, OnePlus 7’s Warp Charge is expected to remain at 20W only.
