OnePlus is one of those companies which makes their customers extremely satisfied while some of them get angry at the same time. This is because the company launches two variants of a smartphone each year. One of them is the flagship smartphone that OnePlus launches in the first half of the year. And the next one is another flagship that launches by the end of each year. Generally, we have seen that it is better to wait for the second flagship smartphone from OnePlus which is released as the ‘T’ variant.
This time around, OnePlus released a series of smartphones for the first time ever. We saw the OnePlus 7 series launching from OnePlus few months back including the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Now, it is time for OnePlus to unveil their OnePlus 7T series which will replace the OnePlus 7 series. In the OnePlus 7 series, the OnePlus 7 was the flagship killer while the OnePlus 7 Pro was pitched as OnePlus’ flagship smartphone with a higher price. Similarly, we will see that OnePlus 7T will replace the OnePlus 7 while the OnePlus 7T Pro will come in place of the OnePlus 7 Pro.
However, leaked specifications of the OnePlus 7T series suggests that history will repeat itself once again. Because it is seen that OnePlus 7T will be a major upgrade over the OnePlus 7 while the OnePlus 7T Pro will just be a minor one. Thus, it is very likely that the buyers of OnePlus 7 will be left disappointed once again.
Talking about OnePlus 7T leaked specifications, the smartphone is likely to get a 90Hz Quad HD+ AMOLED display as seen on OnePlus 7 Pro. Apart from that, it will also have a triple rear camera setup which is one more than the OnePlus 7. While the OnePlus 7T Pro will just have a ToF sensor added and Snapdragon 855+ will power both the 7T series devices.
