You must be aware that the coronavirus pandemic is taking over the entire world in its grips and we also know that the events and gatherings in public have been banned all over the world. This means that companies cannot even launch their new products by holding an event.
However, there has always been a live stream for every launch event so it means that virtual launches were also taking place. Now is the time that launch events can only be conducted virtually and no physical events will be possible for the time being.
As a part of this, the upcoming OnePlus 8 series will also be an online-only event and it will be strange to see presenters coming on stage to an empty hall or maybe a room. It is what it is and we have to accept the fact so it is also worth noting that the Indian launch event for OnePlus 8 series will take place at 8.30 PM IST. As for the launch event, it will be streamed live on YouTube as well as OnePlus’ own website.
It is known that the OnePlus 8 series will be the company’s most powerful but also the most expensive lineup of smartphones to date. This is because of the 5G support as well as the global pandemic situation and taxes all over the world.
As for the OnePlus 8 Pro, we will see 120Hz OLED panel along with Quad HD+ resolution while having four cameras at the back and one in the front along with an Infinity-O display. For the OnePlus 8, there will be a 90Hz display with FHD+ resolution while one rear camera sensor will be reduced.
Leaked pricing details also suggest the OnePlus 8 might start at $700 whereas the OnePlus 8 Pro might even touch the $1000 for its highest variant. We will see LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage on both the devices for performance and speed.
