OnePlus confirms some major features of OnePlus 7 Pro such as triple rear cameras, pop-up selfie camera

OnePlus 7 Pro

We have known that the rise of OnePlus in the smartphone industry has been unprecedented. By this, we mean that OnePlus has been able to acquire the premium market in India and other countries in very short time. Previously, we have seen companies doing great in the budget and mid-range segment. However, it is very difficult to achieve similar success in the upper mid-range to entry-level flagship segment.

OnePlus’ first smartphone, the OnePlus One, launched with the motto of ‘flagship killer’ which set to tone for OnePlus’ success journey. Although OnePlus is now moving away from its flagship killer tagline and moving towards the flagship territory. This is because we will see the launch of OnePlus 7 series by the company next year. This series will include more than one smartphone from OnePlus. We expect the company to launch OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G variant.

As we all know, OnePlus 7 Pro will be the flagship smartphone from OnePlus this year. OnePlus 7, on the other hand, will be a toned down version of its Pro sibling. With this, OnePlus is also set to launch its most expensive smartphone yet. Now, we know that OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to bring some major changes rather than the OnePlus 7.

Now, we have confirmation from OnePlus itself that OnePlus 7 Pro will have a pop-up selfie camera. This is because the company published an ad in U.S. New York Times. This ad read that its next smartphone will have “no bezels, no notch”. Also, OnePlus 7 Pro’s triple cameras are also confirmed via a sketch of the smartphone published in the very same ad copy.

Noticeable, OnePlus says that its next flagship will not have a “$2000 price tag” which is a dig at foldable phones from Samsung and Huawei. However, OnePlus has not mentioned a $1000 price tag which means at least one of the OnePlus 7 Pro variant will be a $1000+ phone.
