
Oppo has announced a new smartphone for its Indian customers in the Oppo A series. This new smartphone is named as the Oppo A5s. Also, the smartphone comes with a Helio series chipset from MediaTek. The smartphone is placed in the sub-10,ooo Rs. price segment in India. This means that the smartphone is targeted towards the budget smartphone users in the country. Oppo says that the smartphone will give “unparalleled, and immersive experience” to its users.
Talking about the highlights of Oppo’s A5s, the smartphone comes with Helio P35 chipset. Also, the smartphone is launched with 2GB and 4GB RAM variants. The smartphone has a 6.2-inch display and dual rear cameras. As for internal storage, the device has 32GB and 64GB storage options.
As per the company’s claims, Oppo A5s is capable of doing heavy tasks as well. This is because there is a perception that budget smartphones are not particularly great at handling intensive tasks. Also, the company claims that Oppo A5s is capable of playing heavy games as well as watching videos. The company claims that Oppo A5s’ 6.2-inch HD+ in-cell display has a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels having 19:9 aspect ratio.
As we mentioned earlier, Oppo A5s has 2/4GB RAM options. Along with that, you have the device running on Android 9.0 Pie which is based on ColorOS 6. As for the camera on the rear of this device, it is a 13MP+2MP sensor. On the front, you get an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. For stabilization, you have an anti-shake feature on this device for smooth and stable videos.
In terms of battery, you have a 4230 mAh cell with AI-based techniques for power management. Finally, the device starts in India for a price of Rs. 9990 for its base variant. However, Oppo has not revealed prices of the 4GB RAM variant but we expect it to be priced at least Rs. 2000 above the base variant.
