Oppo announces Ranbir Kapoor as the ‘Brand Icon’ and Katrina Kaif, Badshah as ‘Brand Friends’ for its Reno series

Oppo has just announced something that will attract a lot of Bollywood fans in the country. The BBK Electronics-owned smartphone manufacturer has announced that they have appointed three huge celebrities as their “Brand Icon” and “Brand Friends”. We are talking about the Oppo Reno lineup of smartphones in particular from the company.

You might have seen that the emphasis with the Oppo Reno lineup from the company is on the Youth who wants to click social media-ready pictures and share it with friends and family. Now, Oppo is targetting this sentiment even more by roping in Ranbir Kapoor as the “Brand Icon”. While Katrina Kaif and Badshah, the Rapper, are appointed as “Brand Friends” respectively.

With this move, Oppo says that they want to “touch hearts of their millennial and Gen Z consumers in India”. Now, you would have seen that the latest smartphone from Oppo, the Reno Z, came with a sharkfin camera on the front and triple rear cameras. Here is what Oppo’s Vice President had to say about roping in the stars for its latest smartphone lineup.
