Oppo has been launching several flagship smartphones this year in India as well as worldwide same as Vivo. We recently saw that the Oppo Find X was launched by the company as their flagship phone of this year. Now, the company is all set to launch the Oppo F9 in India and around the world.
It seems that Oppo F9 will be named as the Oppo F9 Pro in India according to reports. Also, we have now received the full specifications of the Oppo F9/F9 Pro which is going to be launched very soon.
As per the leaked specifications, the Oppo F9 will have a 6.3-inch display. The Oppo F9 supports Full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels which means that the aspect ratio will be 19:9. Apart from that, Oppo will commercially advertise its display as a waterdrop one because it has a notch similar to Essential Phone which is drop-like.
The smartphone is powered by Helio P60 chipset according to the leaks. Apart from that, the Oppo F9’s processor will be clocked at 2.0 GHz. As a matter of fact, the Oppo F9 will have the same SoC as the Realme 1 and the Oppo F7. The Oppo F9 Pro will have up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Coming to the software on the Oppo F9 Pro, it will have company’s Color OS 5.2 UI. This UI will have Android 8.1 Oreo running under the hood. Apart from that, the smartphone will have a dual camera on the back and a single camera on the front. Coming to the color options of Oppo F9 Pro, the smartphone is expected to be a colorful one.
This is because the smartphone is expected to launch in Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple variants. The Oppo F9 is confirmed to launch on August 15 in Vietnam which is when we will get the first official look at the handsets.
