Oppo Reno and Reno 10x Zoom launched in India starting at Rs. 32,990

Oppo Reno series

Oppo has just unveiled its Oppo Reno series of smartphones in India. This lineup consists of the Oppo Reno and Reno 10x Zoom smartphones. In the Reno lineup, Oppo Reno 10x Zoom is the premium smartphone out of the two offerings. This smartphone comes with the flagship Snapdragon 855 processor as well as 8GB RAM. However, the Oppo Reno is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor.

Now, the idea behind Oppo Reno smartphones is to attract young smartphone users. Oppo Reno series offers flagship smartphones with attractive design and features at budget pricing. Also, the Oppo Reno and Reno 10x Zoom smartphones come without a notch and feature a full-screen display. On the Oppo Reno, we have a dual camera setup whereas the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom comes with triple rear cameras and a pop-up selfie camera.

Talking about Oppo Reno smartphones, the Oppo Reno comes with a 6.4-inch display whereas the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom comes with a 6.6-inch display. Both the smartphones have Full HD+ display as well as AMOLED panels. They also feature the in-display fingerprint sensor. However, the most unique aspect of the Oppo Reno smartphones is its shark-fin mechanism for the selfie camera.

Oppo Reno has a 48MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera. On the other hand, Oppo Reno 10x Zoom comes with 48 primary, 8MP ultra-wide and a 13MP telephoto camera. Along with that, you get the option of 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage variants.

Coming to the price in the Indian market, the Oppo Reno starts at Rs. 32,990 for the base variant. This is the same as the OnePlus 7 which was recently launched in India. However, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom with 3 cameras at the back starts at Rs. 39,990 which is Rs. 9000 less than OnePlus 7 Pro which comes with similar specifications but a much better display.
