It is said that they are planning to heighten their work scale in Ireland. As we all know how fast the cryptocurrencies Ether and Bitcoin are gaining popularity in the region now all the newly recruited crypto experts will be handling the company’s crypto operations in Ireland. Rumors are the company is going to hire crypto-related positions on a large scale.
They had an active purchase of Bitcoin, Ether, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin which took place the past year through the formulation of a specialized crypto and blockchain unit but afterward they had sold to US citizens to accommodate and facilitate crypto transactions in an easier manner
As of now, according to Job postings on Paypal’s website, there are a total of at least 102 job openings related to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology all over the world
The positions differ from crypto engineering managers, program managers, strategy managers, and blockchain AML analytics managers, to investigators, operations managers, crypto investigations specialists, crypto tax reporting managers, and crypto legal directors
At first, Paypal had affirmed that the US citizens will now be able to make transactions using cryptocurrencies through their Paypal accounts but afterward, they informed that the clients will also have access to a system that will allow them to make payments using third-party applications.
Overall on August 1, Paypal listed more than 2 dozen openings for jobs whose title included the word “crypto”. The reasoning behind Paypal executives’ interests in beefing crypto capabilities was clear from remarks Schulman made speaking with analysts on July 29, when Paypal released his second fiscal quarter financial results
