In May, OPPO introduced Realme as its sub-brand, which is mainly based on high-end performance and launched first_Realme 1 smartphone. After a few months, Realme released the second flagship of Realme 2 series smartphones in India in August, and now ready to launch it in Malaysian market.
According to local media, an invitation letter from Realme confirmed that they will officially launch Realme 2 and Pro versions in Indonesia on October 9th! At the same time, it was mentioned in the report that Realme has confirmed to enter the Malaysian market, and the release of the Realme 2 series indicates that they are ready to come!
Compared to Realme 1, it has 6.3 inches large screen with notch display. For the camera point, it uses a dual camera of 13MP f / 2.2 + 2MP f / 2.4 on the rear side. While the selfie camera occupies 8MP f / 2.2 with Face recognition and AI features.
The only difference is having a finger-print scanner on the back side. As well, the device has a Snapdragon 450 with a storage combination of 3GB/4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB storage that can be expanded more. In the OS section, it still adopts Android 8.1 by offering a newer ColorOS version 5.1 with a larger 4,230 mAh battery capacity combined with AI Power Manager. Realme 2 comes in three color variants, namely diamond red, diamond blue, and diamond black.
In India, Realme 2 costs nearly Rs.8990 and its pro version priced at 10,990. Although the company announced to release with the same price tags in Indonesia.
