Realme has now launched the latest smartphone in the Indian market named as the Realme 2 Pro. This smartphone becomes the third smartphone from the company in a span of six months. Realme, which is a subsidiary company of Oppo, started operations in India with the launch of Realme 1.
Last month, the company launched Realme 2 in India which was expected to be the successor to Realme 1. However, the company explained that Realme 2 is not the successor to Realme 1 even though the naming suggests so. In the same event, Realme teased the launch of a new smartphone named as the Realme 2 Pro.
Now, Exactly a month after the Realme 2 launch, Realme has launched the Realme 2 Pro. This device is indeed the successor to Realme 1 which was launched with excellent specifications at a budget price. Similarly, Realme 2 Pro also comes with excellent specifications which are even better than the Realme 1.
For starters, the Realme 2 Pro will come with Snapdragon 660 processor which also comes with AI features built inside it. Apart from that, the Realme 2 Pro also has 8GB of RAM and comes with 128GB internal storage as well. Another major talking point of the Realme 2 Pro is that it has a unique waterdrop notch display. The Realme 2 Pro’s display is a 6.3-inch Full Hd+ panel with an edge-to-edge display.
Apart from that, the Realme 2 Pro also has a dual camera setup on the back. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor and a software-backed Face Unlock mechanism has also been baked inside the device. The device runs on top of ColorOS skin from Oppo and is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo. The device has a battery capacity of 4230 mAh, enough to power the device for heavy usage conditions.
In regards with the pricing of Realme 2 Pro, the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant of the device costs Rs. 17,990 in India. The 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 13,990 and 6GB RAM variant of the device is priced at Rs. 15,990.
