realme has officially confirmed that the much-awaited realme P4 series will launch in India on August 20th at 12 PM IST. Adding to the excitement, Francis Wong, CMO of realme India, revealed that the P4 5G will be priced starting at ₹17,499.
The realme P3 5G launched last year at ₹16,999 but was effectively sold at ₹14,999 with bank offers. This time too, industry sources suggest that the actual price of the P4 5G might be closer to ₹19,499, with launch offers bringing it down to ₹17,499 for early buyers.
Interestingly, Wong compared the P4 5G with rivals like the moto g96 5G and iQOO Z10R / vivo T4R, highlighting that the P4 is the only phone under ₹20,000 to come with a dedicated graphics chip, giving it a strong edge for gamers.

The phone runs on a dual-chip setup a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G SoC paired with a Pixelworks visual processor. This ensures smoother gameplay, sharper visuals, and consistent frame rates even during demanding sessions.
It features a 6.77-inch FHD+ 144Hz HyperGlow AMOLED display with HDR10+ support, peak brightness of 4500 nits, and 3840Hz PWM dimming for reduced eye strain.
Battery & Cooling
Fueling the phone is a massive 7000mAh Titan Battery with 80W Ultra Charge, capable of hitting 50% in just 25 minutes. realme claims the battery can support up to 11 hours of BGMI gameplay on a single charge. To manage heat during extended use, it packs a 7000 mm² AirFlow VC Cooling System.
Cameras & Design
On the rear, the phone carries a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the front has a 16MP IMX480 sensor for selfies and video calls. The design follows a rugged Metal Heart look with visible screws, adding durability and style. It will be available in Steel Grey, Engine Blue, and Forge Red color options.
Availability
The realme P4 5G series will be available right after the launch on Flipkart and realme.com, making it one of the most anticipated mid-range phones of 2025.
