Realme’s X2 Pro will run on Snapdragon 855+ processor and have 50W fast charging support

Realme X2 Pro

We have kept talking about how the launches from Realme never end. However, it is also great for the market if a smartphone manufacturer keeps innovating and upgrading its previous smartphones. As everyone in the market for buying a new phone gets the opportunity to buy the latest and greatest technology out there. Talking about Realme, it is a company owned by BBK Electronics and is a sub-division from Oppo.

Therefore, Realme is sufficiently backed by heavyweights and it won’t go bust anytime soon. Talking about heavyweights, Realme is looking to launch a new smartphone very soon. This smartphone will be named as the Realme X2 Pro which will be an upgraded version of the Realme X2. As far as the Realme X2 Pro is concerned, it will have the flagship Snapdragon 855+ processor. This means that Realme is now looking to compete even against OnePlus and Xiaomi in the entry-level premium category too.

You must have seen the Redmi K20 Pro series from Xiaomi and the OnePlus 7T launched recently. These are the smartphone that Realme is eyeing to compete with and we feel Realme will do well as it has the market share, as well as the smartphones, will be priced very competitively. Also, Realme X2 Pro’s other specifications have also been revealed by the company itself in a teaser. According to Realme, their flagship smartphone will have 50W fast charging VOOC 3.0 support. Apart from that, the smartphone will have a 64MP primary camera along with 20x hybrid zoom.

However, a disappointing revelation is that the smartphone will run ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie. While the Android 10 update should come very soon, it is a pity that the latest version of Android will not come out-of-the-box. We believe that Realme is not pre-loading Android 10 on its device because Google has some guidelines for devices running on Android 10 out-of-the-box and Realme X2 Pro might not meet them.
