Samsung Announces two new AR Emojis in Partnership with Disney

Samsung, the smartphone manufacturing giant, just launched the Galaxy S9 series of flagships. The Galaxy S9 series is the successor to the Galaxy S8 series launched last year. Also, you should note that the Galaxy Note 9 from Samsung is just around the corner.

Meanwhile, Samsung has now made an announcement related to the AR Emoji feature of the Galaxy S9. In a press release by the company, Samsung has said that two new AR Emojis are coming to Galaxy S9 and S9+. These new AR Emojis bring two more classic Disney characters to the Galaxy S9 series.

Now, it is worth noting that Samsung already announced three AR Emojis related to classic Disney characters. These characters were Mickey Mouse, Minney Mouse, and Donald Duck. Now, Daisy Duck and Goofy are the new characters to join the list in AR Emoji form. Apart from that, Samsung has also launched AR Emojis from Pixar’s Incredibles. Coming back to the AR Emojis, they are produced by Samsung in partnership with Disney.

Also, take note that the two new AR Emojis are already available for download on the Galaxy S9 series. In order to get the latest AR Emojis, go to your Galaxy S9’s AR Emoji mode and tap on the + icon at the top-right corner. This will open the Samsung App Store where you will find this AR Emojis listed.

Talking about AR Emojis on Galaxy S9, it is Samsung’s take on the Animoji introduced by Apple on the iPhone X. Animoji and AR Emoji are similar in a way that they track facial expressions to record in the voices of special characters. Apart from that, you can share those AR Emojis with friends and family in a message to convey your message in a funny way. Samsung claims that the AR Emojis use AR-powered deep learning and facial recognition to map 100 facial expressions. Along with that, Samsung mentions that, along with Disney, they have many more AR Emojis updates in coming months.
