Samsung is all set and ready to launch the next smartphone in their flagship lineup of Galaxy smartphones. This smartphone will be launched in the Galaxy Note series, named as the Galaxy Note 9. Also, the company has revealed the launch date of this smartphone as well.
According to the media invites sent by Samsung, the Galaxy Note 9 will launch on August 9. Now, we have already known that the smartphone will be packed with flagship specifications. This includes the latest Snapdragon 845 processor from Qualcomm as well as up to 8GB of RAM.
Now, some more information regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has surfaced on the internet. Specifically, this leak comes in the form of a listing of the smartphone on FCC which is a certification site. Now, the latest leak about the Galaxy Note 9 is related to its stylus known as S-pen.
We have already heard rumors that Samsung is going to make major changes to its traditional S-pen on the Note 9. This seems to be true as Samsung has now certified the changes to its S-pen as well. Talking about the changes, S-pen on the Galaxy Note 9 will have Bluetooth support for the first-time ever this year.
Now, we are also wondering as to what the possible use-case scenario for Bluetooth-enabled S-pen would be. One of the possibilities that we can think of is to use S-pen as a remote shutter button same as the ones found on selfies sticks. This way, you can hold the S-pen in one hand and your smartphone in another and click on top of the S-pen to capture the image.
This is helpful in terms of capturing selfies as well as group photos from a handheld device. Samsung might have also planned more features regarding the S-pen which will be revealed on August 9 so stay tuned for that.
