A new report by Wall Street Journal once again brings the attention of the Galaxy S10, which seems increasingly to be a real turning point for the company. We have already reiterated yesterday that there should be three main variants of the smartphone: two 5.8 “(the first without fingerprint reader below the display and with a non-curved screen, the second with both) and a 6.44-inch one; but apparently, it does not end here.
The “super” Galaxy S10 (codenamed ” Beyond X “) will also be the only model with 5G connectivity and moreover, it should have 6 cameras: 4 behind and 2 in front. And if that was not enough, the Journal also talks about reverse wireless charging, like Mate 20 Pro, or the ability to charge other compatible devices simply by touching them. This function may also be present on other variants of S10, not only on the 5G.
According to the source, now it is possible to confirm the color options of the Galaxy S10 and some other details. Galaxy S10 debut is expected in February 2019, in a few months folding smartphone will also be released. Galaxy S10 series will be presented in three versions – the younger SM-G970x and premium SM-G973x with SM-G975x. Smartphones will be available in black, white, yellow and green. Some of them may be a gradient. Some time after the release is planned to expand the color gamut.
The Galaxy S10 will also be the first smartphone with a fingerprint scanner built right into the screen, and the most affordable variation will receive 64 GB of internal flash memory. Models SM-G973x and SM-G975x will receive displays with a diagonal of 5.8 and 6.44 inches. The younger SM-G970x will also be 5.8-inch but without an on-screen scanner.
