We know that Apple and Google announce their latest versions of iOS and Android every year. For Google, the announcement will be at Google I/O later next month. As for Apple, the next version of iOS will be announced at WWDC in June. Now, the next version of iOS after the iOS 12 launch last year will be iOS 13. The next version of iOS 13 is expected to bring many new changes with it as well. Also, we are expecting a full redesign of iOS very soon which might happen with iOS 13.
As far as the leaks regarding iOS are concerned, the latest version of iOS will bring system-wide dark mode. This means that the iPhones and iPads will be able to take advantage of the AMOLED panels with battery consumption. Apart from that, 9to5Mac has reported that iOS 13 will also have support for dark mode for apps running on Mac from iPad via Marzipan.
Also, one major change with iOS 13 is that apps will finally be able to have multiple windows. But this feature might be limited to iPads only. Also, you will be able to have drag functionality with windows so that they can be moved around on the screen. It must be said, though, that this is not new at all for Windows users. Also, the windows can be stacked on top of each other with a depth effect to see which card is on top. This, again, is also available on Windows from quite a long time.
However, we should add that this is being added to iOS 13 by Apple for its iPad. However, most of the Windows devices are PCs or Laptops and not tablets. Also, Android is definitely not optimized for usage on tablet devices as of yet. Also being added is Undo and Redo feature for iPad which will be very convenient too. With iOS 13, users can just swipe left or right with three fingers on the keyboard to undo or redo respectively.
