Vivo Z1 Lite gets launched in China starting at 1098 Yuan

Vivo Z1 Lite

Vivo has launched another new smartphone in the Chinese market. This smartphone has been named as the Vivo Z1 Lite. Vivo had already started to take pre-orders for the Vivo Z1 Lite starting from November 1. Now, the time has come when the smartphone has officially been launched in China. It was already speculated that Vivo will launch this smartphone around Singles’ day which is November 11. The smartphone will be available in China through Vivo’s online stores.

Talking about the Vivo Z1 Lite, the smartphone is a premium-looking entry-level handset from the company. Also, it should be obvious that the Vivo Z1 Lite is a toned down version of the Vivo Z1. Vivo Z1 was launched around six months ago in the market by Vivo. The Vivo Z1 and Z1 Lite measure almost the same in terms of screen size. On the Vivo Z1 Lite, there is a 6.26-inch IPS LCD screen which has a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and is Full HD+ in nature.

Other than that, the Vivo Z1 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 626 processor which is different from the Snapdragon 660 on the Vivo Z1. The Vivo Z1 Lite comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage out of the box. We do have a microSD card slot on the Vivo Z1 Lite so the storage can be expanded further.

The back of Vivo Z1 Lite features a dual camera setup of 16MP + 2MP which is capable of portrait mode, zooming and more. The fingerprint sensor of Vivo Z1 Lite is also located at the back. There is a single selfie camera on the front which is a 16MP shooter resting inside the notch. This front camera is also used to power Face Unlock on the device. The Vivo Z1 Lite runs on Android 8.1 Oreo which is based on Vivo’s Funtouch OS. The smartphone is priced in China for 1098 Yuan which is equivalent to Rs. 11,500 in India. However, Vivo is not expected to launch this device in India.
