With the emojis, you know that the more, the better. Luckily, year after year we received a good new dose of them, and WhatsApp is one of the first applications to include support. So it does in the latest beta of WhatsApp for Android, which adds the emojis of Unicode 11.
In total 66 new emojis to which are added four components that are combined with others: red hair, curly hair, bald and white hair. These allow an additional personalization to the skin tone, although for now, it is not possible to choose it from WhatsApp.
62 new emojis
We have in total 62 new emojis to which the 4 components with hair types are added. As for the emojis, we have several new faces like the face with three hearts, the heated face, the frozen face, the festive face, and the pleading face.
There are not many emojis of new professions: only hero and supervillain but in parts of the body we have new entrances like the leg, foot, bone or teeth, that arrive next to glasses of protection, a shoe without heel and boots of tracking.
More news in the field of animals and food, where the llama, raccoon, lobster, peacock, mosquito or the microbe. For the part of the food, bagel, salt or cupcakes come on the scene. You can see the full list of add-ons on the Emojipedia information page.
Now you can see bald, redheaded, curly hair and white hair
The 62 previous emojis are accompanied by four new components, which are something like modifiers. Just as it is possible to determine the skin tone of the emojis, it is now possible to determine the hair color as red hair, curly hair, white hair or totally bald.
These modifiers are available only in a limited number of emojis, and although WhatsApp supports and displays it correctly, there is no way to make this selection from the application itself. It remains to be seen how it will end up implementing WhatsApp.
To have these emojis you only need to have the latest beta version of WhatsApp, which also adds the ability to respond to messages from a group privately. You can get it directly on Google Play, by signing up for the beta.
