If you are someone who has even a tiny bit of interest in gaming and console gaming in particular then you would have already heard about the Xbox Series X as well as the Sony PS5 releasing later this year. Now, it is obvious that you would not buy a new console from any company before looking at its specifications. For that reason, both Microsoft and Sony are trying to gather hype around its latest gaming consoles by the way of releasing few details about their products at certain intervals.
As far as Sony PS5 reveal is concerned, we are going to see its details revealed at the event that is scheduled at the beginning of next month. But Microsoft has always been ahead regarding its Xbox Series X and they have done it once again. The company has now released few more details about its Series X gaming console and one of them includes backwards compatibility. The company claims that its Series X will have the best backwards compatibility meaning that you can play Xbox Series X games on the One X and vice-versa.
Microsoft also says that with the launch of Xbox Series X, the gameplay on older consoles such as the Xbox One series will also be enhanced. This is because of allowing them to run at 120 FPS, higher resolution, and even support High Dynamic Range or HDR. We know that some games on the Xbox One X which were limited to 30 FPS on the Xbox One X, would be able to run at a much higher frame rate and this includes Assassins Creed Odyssey, CONTROL among others.
Microsoft also talks about the fast loading times with its Xbox Series X because of the super-fast SSD and the company adds that “people are underestimating that impact the almost zero loading time is going to have.”
