Xiaomi is expected to launch the Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint and Mi 8 Youth Edition soon

Xiaomi is expected to release a new flagship smartphone very soon. It is already known that Xiaomi releases various smartphones every year. Therefore, we are all set for yet another Xiaomi smartphone launch. This time, the company will announce their flagship smartphone for markets other than China which is the Mi 8. Now, there are leaks which reveal that the Mi 8 will come in two variants. One of the Mi 8 variants will be the Mi 8 youth edition which was launched in China a few months ago. Another edition of the Xiaomi Mi 8 will be the called as the Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint edition.

Now, it must have been clear to you from the name of the second edition of Mi8. If not then do not worry as we are here to tell you what it exactly means. The Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint edition means that the device will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Now, we have already seen smartphones from Oppo and Vivo coming with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Also, Mi 8 in China has already been released with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Apart from that, we saw a leak about the OnePlus 6T which suggests that the latest OnePlus flagship will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Talking more about the Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint edition, the smartphone may come in two storage options. The first variant will have 128GB internal storage and 6GB of RAM whereas the other variant will have same storage but there will be 8GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Mi 8 Youth Edition will have up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

We recently saw various launches from Xiaomi in Indian as well as international markets. For instance, the Poco F1 was launched by the company very recently. Also, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6 series in India earlier today.
