Xiaomi is always known to come up with spectacular devices. Once again, the company has released a great device in its Redmi Note series in India. However, Xiaomi has also done the global launch of the device from India. The device we are talking about is the Redmi Note 7 Pro. It must be known that the Redmi Note 7 was already launched in China earlier. However, Xiaomi did not launch the Redmi Note 7 or Note 7 Pro in India. The company announced that Indian launch of Redmi Note 7 will take place on February 28.
At the launch of Redmi Note 7, Xiaomi made a surprise announcement regarding the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The company announced that Redmi Note 7, as well as Redmi Note 7 Pro, will be available in India at the same time. As far as Redmi Note 7 Pro is concerned, it has a 6.3-inch display along with Dot Notch. This is the same as the Redmi Note 7’s display.
Also, Redmi Note 7 Pro also has Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back same as Redmi Note 7. The major difference, however, is in the internals. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC as compared to the Redmi Note 7 which has a Snapdragon 660 SoC. Apart from that, Redmi Note 7 Pro also offers 4/6GB RAM options and 64/128GB internal storage options.
However, the Redmi Note 7 Pro includes a 48MP primary camera. Along with that, there is also a 5MP secondary camera at the back. On the front, Xiaomi has bundled a 13MP single selfie camera. The battery capacity on the Redmi Note 7 Pro is 4000 mAh. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie which is with the help of Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 skin.
In terms of pricing, Xiaomi has made a major announcement. The company has priced the base variant of Redmi Note 7 Pro at just Rs. 13,999 whereas the Redmi Note 7 Pro 6GB RAM variant is available for Rs. 16,999.
