Xiaomi is all set to launch their latest smartphone in the Mi Max series. Traditionally, the Mi Max series comes with large screen size and massive battery capacity. This is thanks to the TENAA listing that surfaced on the internet earlier. In terms of the launch of Mi Max 3, Xiaomi was expected to announce the smartphone in May. this is because the Mi Max 2 was launched in May last year. However, Xiaomi has delayed the launch of the Mi Max 3.
Also, the company has confirmed that the Mi Max 3 will be launched in July. Regarding the smartphone, model numbers M1804E4C, M1804E4T and M1804E4A have been certified by Chinese certification site TENAA. The Mi Max 3, according to the listing, is a bit heavy weighing 221 grams.
The device will have a 6.9-inch Full HD+ resolution display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 636 but there are rumors that the Snapdragon 710 could also be included in a higher variant. Also, as expected, the Mi Max 3 is expected to have a massive 5400 mAh battery.
There are also rumors that the Mi Max 3 will have a dual camera setup. However, the TENAA listing does not reveal any information about the camera. According to rumors, the dual camera setup will have a primary camera of 12MP. In the storage department, the device will have 3/32GB, 4/64GB, and 6/128GB variants respectively.
Apart from that, the device will have a microSD card slot as well. The Mi Max 3 is also expected to come with Android 8.1 Oreo pre-installed on the device. Also, we have seen that MIUI 10 was recently released by Xiaomi. The Mi Max 3 is expected to be the first Xiaomi smartphone to come with MIUI 10 pre-installed.
