YouTube Now Broadcast Free Movies With Ads Inside

Youtube movies

For years it is possible to find movies of all kinds on YouTube, content uploaded by users and deleted by Google every time something like this is detected. It is one of the most popular platforms to watch videos on the Internet, so it seems obvious that it is also the house of premiere films and diverse classics.

Now a new movement has been made in this regard: YouTube added about 100 Hollywood movies with advertising to its database, something that it did a few weeks ago without giving much publicity to the subject. According to a new report, the titles include a mix of classics such as “Rocky” and “The Terminator”, as well as “Zookeeper”, “Agent Cody Banks” and “Legally Blonde”.

It is true that on Youtube we can already buy movies and programs, just like on other platforms, but being able to see them for free in exchange for viewing ads is something new. And seems that they will not be limited to this experience, since they are looking for other agreements with advertisers, such as sponsorships or exclusive screenings.

Although surely we will not see premiere films with this format, we can recover classic feature films that are difficult to find on Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO and other options available under the subscription model.

This initiative is currently limited to the United States since outside of that country we continue to see the traditional option: pay to see the content, as shown in the upper capture.
