How to sync bookmarks between Firefox and Chrome: Many of us using more than one browser. We are switching devices like Tablets, Laptops, Desktops and Smartphones for our convenience.  Most of us don’t know know how to sync bookmarks across devices for various browsers. You can easily sync bookmarks between browsers and devices using some simple extensions and tools. These tools will offer you a simple way of syncing bookmarks between any pair of browsers.

Xmarks, formerly known as Foxmarks, it is the most popular sync tool for bookmarks. Install Xmarks on each computer you use, and it seamlessly integrates with your web browser and keeps your bookmarks safely backed up and in sync. Xmarks will sync across browsers. Today we support Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari (Mac OS).

Firefox Sync is a service that lets you synchronize your bookmarks, history, passwords, add-ons and open tabs with another copy of Firefox. Firefox Sync lets you take all your Firefox data such as your bookmarks, history, passwords, add-ons and open tabs.

Chrome sync

EverSync is a Chrome Extension which creates a bridge between Chrome and Firefox to share the bookmarks and favorites. To start using it, go to “Settings -> Advanced Sync Settings”. Change the drop down from “Sync Everything” to “Choose what to sync”. Uncheck Bookmarks from the list below. Click OK. Now open EverSync and click on the Sync icon and click Start Synchronization of bookmarks.

Transmute

Transmute is a tool that lets you export and import bookmarks between any browser. It is a paid tool comes with a great option like bookmarks merging and makes duplicate free bookmarks.

Chrome

Chrome can sync your bookmarks with your Google account. This requires that you sign into Google via Chrome. You can access it by going into settings and then click the “Sign in to Chrome” button.
