How To Install Android 5.0 Lollipop On Windows-Full Tutorial
- Download the Android SDK install Windows version.
- Install the downloaded copy of SDK on your machine.
Note: If you have downloaded the zipped version of SDK, you don’t need to install the program. Directly open the extracted files and run the SDK Manager. - After installation click on the”SDK Manager” program shortcut to launch.
- After launching the program select packages, you need to download and install. Here, select Android5.0 (API21) and Android SDK Platform tools to install.
- After everything installed now you need to set up the Android emulator in order to run the Android 5.0 Lollipop virtually on your Windows machine.
- Here, go back to the Android SDK folder and run “AVD Manager”. Now click on New and create a virtual device.
- Set up using default settings and run the AVD Manager. In the AVD manager select the virtual device and click on start.
- Now click on the launch button without changing anything in the options panel.
- The emulator will start and you’ll notice an Android device booting logo on your Windows screen. (Few command prompt windows appears on the screen during the launch).
- It will take some time to load for the first time and the home screen appears within few minutes.
