We know that Android smartphones have advanced a lot nowadays and we can basically do any task that we want. This is because Android is an open-source platform and developers brings different types of applications to the platform. Now, one of the most important and handy features is Call Recording.
We know that Call Recording is needed so that we can keep a backup of our chats on call for personal use. Also, this feature is present on several smartphones by different OEMs around the world. However, Call Recording is not bundled inside Android so it is not present on every Android smartphone.
It means that people without the call recording feature have to rely on third-party applications. Therefore, people usually go to trusted applications so that they can have no privacy concerns. One of the most trusted applications for this is the Truecaller app for Android. We recently saw Truecaller announce that they are providing the Call Recording feature for Android devices. So, you will want to know the steps to enable the call recording feature on Truecaller and record your calls as well.
It is also known that Truecaller is the most popular callerID application for Android and iOS. However, the call recording feature is only available on Android. This is partly because Apple has restricted iOS devices from the call recording feature. Also, we should consider the fact that Call Recording is illegal in many countries so it may also be a contributing factor.
Interestingly, it is known that Truecaller’s Call Recording feature is not supported on Pixel and Nexus devices. Apart from that, we have gathered that Motorola Moto G4 is currently not supported along with other Android 7.1 Nougat devices. This might be because of some restriction of Android APIs or Truecaller limiting the feature to newer APIs.
Keeping those things aside, we recommend you to check if the Call Recording feature is available on your phone or not. Also, read the article below to see how you can also record calls using Truecaller for Android

6. Select between Manual or Automatic Call Recording on Truecaller
Now, there is one more configuration you need to focus on before using this feature. You have to select between the Manual recording of calls or automatically recording your calls. Basically, if you select manual then only the calls will be recorded when you enable it. On the other hand, Automatic selection will record all your calls by default. Now, you may prefer to choose Automatic to not have the hassle of turning on call recording before every call. However, if you don’t need to record each and every call then Manual is the way to go.
7. Listen to your Recorded Calls on Truecaller
Now that you have enabled Call Recording and have recorded your calls, you will want to know how to listen to them. So, it is very easy to listen to your recorded calls. Go to the Settings menu as previously done once again. Find the Call Recording option and click on it again and you will find all your recorded calls listed one by one along with contact names
8. Purchase Truecaller Premium after the trial period
As we mentioned earlier, Truecaller allows users to record calls for free for a trial period. This trial period is of 14 days only so you will be unable to record calls on the 15th day.
