Disable Windows 10 Password

Securing your computer with a password is one of the most important things you should do. Especially if the system holds your important business documents and personal details. However, sometimes, you may not have such important things that you want to protect and need quick access to the OS without waiting for the login screen. For example, if you have a dedicated PC just for gaming with nothing except games installed, it is a good idea to save some time by turning off the password. So, without further due, let’s see how we can do that.

Unless you are absolutely sure that no important information resides on your PC or no one can get access to it, we do not recommend disabling the password.

To Disable Windows 10 Password

  1. Open the Run command prompt by pressing Win + R keys on your keyboard.
  2. Type netplwiz in the Run prompt and press Enter.
  3. It will open the User Account settings screen. Just uncheck the box saying “Users must enter a user name or a password to use this computer“.
