When we are in need of access to digital storage in an emergency, having a Google One subscription is a wonderful thing to have. Some of the more expensive Google One plans actually offer access to Gemini Advanced, which is the most advanced form of Google’s artificial intelligence model.
Google One is a subscription service that includes a few more features in addition to a Google Drive membership. A Google One membership, compared to a standard Google Drive subscription, allows you to share it with other members of your family. This provides everyone in the home with access to a significant amount of cloud storage space, in addition to a few other distinct advantages.
Creating a Google Family is the first step to completing this task.
How to set up a Google Family?
Setting up a family group under your Google account is the first thing you need to do in order to share Google One with your family. In order to do this, navigate to one.google.com and then click on Settings, which can be seen by the gear in the upper right corner of the window. At this point, pick Manage Family Settings > Manage > Create a family group, and then proceed to follow the remaining instructions.
You may invite people to join your Google Family Group by selecting Manage Family Settings> Manage > Send new invitations. A fresh invitation should be sent, and the email addresses of the persons you wish to invite should be entered.
How to share Google One with your family group?
After you have completed the steps described above to set up a Google Family account, it is now time to begin sharing your advantages with the rest of your parents and siblings. To access the Manage Family Settings option, navigate to one.google.com and click the settings cog located at the top of the screen. One of the options that you should now notice is a toggle next to the Share Google One with family option. The toggle will be to the right when it is turned on, so make sure you select it to turn it on. Your entire family will be able to access Google One through this.
Be cautious of the fact that each member of your family will continue to own their very own “individual storage.” When their individual storage is full, however, they will begin to utilize the “family storage” that you have unlocked with both the Family Group and your Google One subscription. This happens after their individual storage has been filled.
