Apple Reportedly Plans To Re-Open US Retail Stores From Next Week

Apple retail stores

One thing we know is the retail presence Apple has in the US and also the fact that people love to use their products. In fact, we know that a majority of US customers prefer to use Apple products and their ecosystem of products.

And a major part of these sales of Apple products come from its retail stores and not online stores. This means Apple realizes that they are losing customers by selling online only due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

However, Apple has kept its employee’s health ahead of the business since they have decided to close all the retail stores in the US even though there was no reported case of any employee catching the virus.

This is also the reason why Apple says they remain optimistic yet careful regarding their next quarter’s earnings since they are bound to take a hit. But a new report has emerged regarding Apple which reveals that the company is trying to re-open some retails stores in the US.

As per this report from the CNBC, Apple is planning to open its retail stores in states such as Idaho, South Carolina, Alabama and Alaska starting as early as next week. It is worth noting that the states mentioned in this report are said to be low-risk zones as far as COVID-19 threat is concerned.

Having said that, Apple is said to be taking all precautions set in places such as social distancing as well as mandatory use of masks and gloves.

The report adds that Apple has directed the stores that are re-opening to practice daily temperature checks as well as permission for a limited number of people to be inside the stores at a time. But it is also true that air-conditioned places and indoor locations that have no ventilation are said to be hotspots for virus spread so Apple will have to move carefully.
