Google will hold the I/O conference in 2019 which is scheduled later this year. The company has already announced that 2019 Google I/O will take place from May 7 to 9. However, we were not aware about anything else regarding the Google I/O of this year. We have received our first build of the latest version of Android which is Android Q. This version of Android will officially be unveiled at this year’s I/O along with all its features.
This announcements usually take place at the keynote which happens at the start of every I/O. Until now, we were not sure when this keynote will take place. Although it is known that the keynote takes place on first day of the event itself. Now, we have official confirmation from Google regarding the same. This year’s Google I/O will also have the keynote right at the start of the event.
We now know that this keynote will start on May 7 at 10 a.m. PST. Also, it is revealed that the keynote will be 1 and a half hours long. It means that the keynote will end at 11:30 a.m. PST. After that, there is another keynote which will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. PST. But this event is unlikely to be linked to the main one.
If you have followed Google I/O closely, you will know that most of the event are listed after the main keynote is completed. So we will know on May 7 at 11.30 a.m. of what the other keynote is about. Also, Google has just released the initial list of events for this year and the detailed schedule will be revealed closer to Google I/O start date. Early indications are that the second keynote after lunch will be the developer keynote. Also, Google has revealed that there will be at least two sessions on Google Stadia at this year’s I/O.
