Google’s augmented reality platform, ARCore, came to compete with Apple’s ARKit, but the number of devices supported at first was very limited. To solve this, support for new devices is added periodically.
Some of the new devices that have been added officially now we already knew them through previous leaks based on the code within the APK, while others are still in the pipeline. ARCore now officially arrives at several more models of Huawei, Nokia 8.1, OnePlus 6T, Samsung Galaxy J7 2017, Sony Xperia XZ3 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 3.
ARCore Continues To Expand
Several of these new models are recent releases such as the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, the OnePlus 6T or the Huawei Mate 20X, but there are also some models that have some time now and now gain support, such as the Samsung Galaxy J7 2017. There is even a Nokia 8.1 that officially does not exist yet.
Have you lost track of which devices are compatible with ARCore and which ones are not? It is understandable, considering that the official list does not stop growing. Here you have all devices compatible with ARCore for now.
