As mentioned earlier, with the release of Honor 8X and 8X Max flagships, Huawei also released Honor Band 4 fitness-tracker. The Honor Band 4. the incomer of Honor Band 3 brought several enhanced features. Both have a similar design with non-replaceable tape and can monitor while sleeping.
Band of Honor 4
Honor-Band 4 with a high-end design is available in blue, black and pink colors. It features a 0.95 inch AMOLED color display with touch-screen option. On the top, a 2.5D curved-glass is equipped. In front, there is a round push button to ON. It has a battery backup of 100 mAh designed to give a battery life of 6 days with a continuous monitoring of heart-rate. In standby mode, it lasts up to 20 days, but displays only the time and the number of steps.
Addition to that, it has Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, combined with Android and iOS devices support any version through Huawei-Health app. It also supports NFC for mobile-payments. Water-resistant upto 50 mts under-water, Speaking-sensors, 6 axis Gyroscope with heart-rate sensor and an IR sensor are other specifications. The body has the dimensions of 43 by 17.2 by 11.5 mm with 23 grams base weight. With Honor Band 4, one can remote selfie-cameras.
The Honor Band 4 available on sale from Sept. 20 onwards and the price tag is nearly 199 yuan ($30). It shows that Honor bands are very costlier. If you like to wear fitness-bands and trying to look something that will not drain your pockets, then Honor Band 4 is a great choice. Even the band of honor 3 is impressed a lot. It retains almost all the features of the new one, with the exception of the color and touch display screen.
And Huawei may be preparing to release more portable wearables soon. We also saw a Huawei Band 3 Pro on the FCC website, apparently confirming things like its name, water-resistant, heart rate tracking, integrated GPS (which does not have tape 4) and Smart notifications. It is also said it has a color touch screen.
Huawei Band 3 Pro is not yet official, it is not known until it is announced. It is scheduled to be the sequel to the Huawei Band 2 Pro last year.
