Lenovo LOQ 15 Gen 11 Brings Ryzen 7 250 and RTX 50-Series Graphics to Budget Gaming

Lenovo LOQ 15 Gen 11 Brings Ryzen 7 250 and RTX 50-Series Graphics to Budget Gaming

Lenovo has refreshed its budget gaming lineup with the new LOQ 15AHP11, a laptop that aims to deliver modern 1080p gaming performance without crossing into premium Legion pricing. It is a clear move to attract buyers who want strong hardware, newer GPU features, and a more distinctive design at a relatively accessible price point.

A more playful LOQ design

One of the first things that separates this model from typical gaming laptops is its look. Lenovo has gone with a whirlwind green finish paired with black bezels and keyboard accents, which gives the LOQ 15 Gen 11 a more energetic identity than the usual dark-grey gaming machines. In some regions, Lenovo is even bundling a matching wireless mouse to complete the setup.

That makes the laptop feel less like a stripped-down entry model and more like a proper gaming package. For buyers who want performance but still care about design, that is a welcome shift.

Ryzen 7 250 powers the system

Under the hood, the LOQ 15AHP11 uses AMD’s Ryzen 7 250, an 8-core, 16-thread Zen 4 processor that can boost up to 5.1GHz. This is essentially a refreshed Hawk Point platform, so users also get Radeon 780M integrated graphics for lighter tasks and backup graphics support.

For everyday work, content editing, and general multitasking, this chip should have enough muscle. The real story, though, is how it pairs with NVIDIA’s latest laptop GPUs.

RTX 5050, 5060, and 5070 options

Lenovo is offering the LOQ 15 Gen 11 with GeForce RTX 5050, RTX 5060, and RTX 5070 Laptop GPUs. Each option comes with 8GB of GDDR7 memory and power limits of around 115W.

These are part of NVIDIA’s newer Blackwell generation, which brings support for DLSS 4, better ray tracing performance, and updated AI features. For gamers targeting 1080p, that should translate into a much more future-ready experience than older budget gaming machines.

Display and expansion

The LOQ 15AHP11 includes a 15.3-inch IPS display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and full sRGB coverage. Brightness is rated at 300 nits, which is solid enough for indoor gaming and regular use.

Lenovo has also taken care of the basics that matter:

  • Up to 32GB DDR5-5600 RAM.

  • Dual M.2 SSD slots for storage expansion.

  • USB4, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3.

  • Weight of around 2.1kg.

That makes it reasonably portable for a gaming laptop, even if it is not exactly lightweight.

Pricing and market position

Pricing starts at around £1,600 in the UK and roughly $1,645 in the US, depending on the configuration. That places it in a crowded but important segment of the market, especially now that more brands are pushing RTX 50-series laptops into mainstream and mid-range categories.

The LOQ 15 Gen 11 is available across several regions, including Europe, the UK, Canada, and Australia. Lenovo seems to be betting that buyers in this price range want modern gaming features, solid build quality, and a design that does not feel overly generic.

TheTechHacker Opinion

Lenovo is doing something smart here. Instead of making the LOQ lineup feel like a bare-minimum budget option, the company is giving it a more modern identity with newer hardware and a more expressive design. The Ryzen 7 250 + RTX 50-series combination makes the LOQ 15AHP11 a serious contender for buyers who want dependable gaming performance without stepping up to premium pricing.
