Skullcandy is one of the most premium brands in the audio category and it makes excellent hearing equipment such as headphones, earphones and speakers. Now, Skullcandy has just announced a new range of audio equipment which are wireless earbuds. Interestingly, the wireless earbuds from Skullcandy named as VERT are ‘Clip-anywhere’ type of earbuds. This means they are neither fully wireless nor are they attached with a wire in between them. Instead, the Skullcandy BERT wireless earbuds have a small module which can be clipped anywhere and the earbuds can be worn as wired earbuds.
Skullcandy is pitching its latest VERT earbuds as something that the adventure and sports enthusiasts would love. The company claims that its VERT earbuds can take heat, dirt and everything else. This means they are built with a rugged usage and are meant for outdoor usage. Not only is the dial along with VERT wireless earbuds enabled with calls, tracking and volume control, it also comes with an in-built TILE tracker. This means that you can locate your wireless earbuds anywhere if you have lost them.
Skullcandy claims that its wireless earbuds can give you 12 hours of battery life, along with Rapid Charge technology which will give you two hours of battery life with just a 10 min charge. One thing to note is that Skullcandy is keeping its VERT wireless earbuds exclusive to the Skullcandy.in store in India.
Therefore, you will not be seeing these wireless earbuds on different e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart and others. As we mentioned earlier, these wireless earbuds will cost you Rs. 4,999 which is Rs. 1000 more than the price of OnePlus Bullets Wireless and Rs. 1000 less than the OnePlu Bullets Wireless 2. However, it should be noted that both of OnePlus’ offerings don’t offer proper sweat-proof and dust-proof protection as the Skullcandy ones do.
