AdBlock

AdBlock

AdBlock is just a variation of the AdBlock Plus with almost all functions. It was first developed for the google chrome by Michael Gundlach and later expanded to other browsers. When comapred to the AdBlock Plus, the AdBlock is faster in performance and much easier to use. But, multiple tabs opened in browsers like Chrome causes some lag in performance. In our testing, the AdBlock extension performed as follows.

AdBlock vs AdBlock Plus: Our Verdict

In our opinion, if you need an extension with more capacity to block ads, AdBlock Plus will be the right choice. If you care about the ease of use, the AdBlock is a considerable one. As both of them are the best in their kind, you could choose any one of them without thinking twice. By the way, which one will you choose? AdBlock Plus or Adblock?

I also agree with you. The Adblock extension worked well for me to block ads in Chrome. While getting into the YouTube, the video ads were showing up constantly. So, I wanted to use an Adblocker in order to get rid of it. I am not a person who want to block ads usually. But YouTube ads are too much. So I had to find a solution.
So, I started using the Adblock plus, but it didn’t work well as you said. Then, I tried the Adblock on Chrome. Now, there is no ad showing up in YouTube at all.

I always prefer the Adblock extension over the Adblock plus. Because, I tried both of them in the past but the Adblock plus was not that effective in blocking the ads on YouTube and other video streaming websites. So, if you want to block the video ads as well, I only suggest the Adblock extension for the browsers.
Even though, the Adblock plus does the job quite well in blocking popups and such ads. But still, the Adblock is slightly better in the job. So, in my opinion, choose Adblock over Adblock plus.
