As we approach the famous annual Apple iPhone event, which is planning to launch several iPhone series, other rumors and forecasts are emerging to give an idea of what will be the new brands of high-end smartphones.
It is reported that the coming-up Apple iPhone series equipped with OLED displays without any 3D Touch function. According to a Macrumors statement, Barclays analyst Blayne Curtis said it was cleared that 3D Touch would be removed from second and third generation X models of iPhone.
While this prediction concerns the iPhone of 2019, the famous Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that 3D Touch’s elimination plans can also be executed for this year’s LCD model of the iPhone. It is speculated that this year’s LCD model will have a 6.1-inch screen and will be a budget variant of the iPhone X based on notches.
It is also confirmed that Apple is updating current AirPods with “Hey Siri” feature, without a wireless chip. But it is unclear whether the present W1 chip can support this feature. In this case, Apple could choose to continue calling them the 1st Generation AirPods.
In this scenario, that Barclays reported that the “AirPods 2” could have water-resistant pair will also launch in 2019. However, this is a bit exaggerated, so it remains to be seen.
A report in The Verge says that this initiative could be in line with Apple’s desire to reduce the waste of resources. Earlier this year, the company’s marketing director, Phil Schiller, said the hardware needed to create a 3D Touch-enabled display is complex and requires a lot of time and investment.
Since the introduction of technology, it has not yet attracted Apple fans and most do not even know what it is the first place. Apple watches have found a more appropriate use of technology, while iPads have not yet received it.
