We know that the traditional ways of posting to Facebook from an RSS feed are gone. But you should not worry as there are still some ways with which you can post on Facebook. One of these ways is with the help of an app called IFTTT. The full form of IFTTT is If This Than That. Basically, you need to set up this app in a way that when something occurs, it triggers the action on another app.
Therefore, we can set up this app in a way that we can connect an RSS feed to our Facebook profile. Therefore, IFTTT will then look for the RSS feed and see if there are any updates to the feed. If the RSS feed is updated then the updated content will be automatically posted on Facebook profile too. For this, you need to set up the IFTTT app first of all.
How to Set up an RSS feed to post directly on Facebook
- Create an account on IFTTT app
- Then, create a new applet. For the “if this” app, you need to select an RSS feed and for “then that” app, you need to select your Facebook profile.
- In the next step, set up your RSS feed as well as your Facebook profile.
- Turn on the applet and your RSS feed content will now be automatically posted to Facebook
You can also click on Check Now to check if the applet works correctly or not. Thus, it is this simple to post RSS feed to your Facebook profile directly with the help of IFTTT app.
