This is one of those things which happens to every one of us and it is surely embarrassing for all of us. Now, this is related to Instagram and other platforms so we feel that most of our readers can relate to this.
Let’s take an example of you sleeping at night but not able to sleep so you take your phone out and just randomly start to go through people’s profiles.
Now, the posts are set in chronological order so you scroll down and see posts from many weeks or even months ago.
However, you might be tired and the brain might not be working as actively so you accidentally “like” any post. If that post is recent, there is no problem but if it is weeks old, there is a problem because you can be seen as a stalker.
Also, this could be a profile of your ex or someone who you have fought with so that can get embarrassing as well. For this reason, we now have a way in which you can “hide” the posts you have liked on Instagram by accident.
First of all, let’s make it clear that there is no such thing as hiding likes but there are different ways to do it.
So one of the ways is to change your name, profile picture and description of your profile so that even if the person sees alike on their post from weeks ago, they cannot find that it was you who did it.
Another way is to make your profile private after changing profile photo and name as soon as you realize that you liked the photo by accident. This will mean that the person will not be able to see earlier posts if they are not following you to save you from embarrassment.
