However, we know that nothing is full proof and there have been several instances where the Apple security has been breached as well.
Having said that, Apple does provide various options to secure your devices as well as accounts which are not mandatory for Android or Google users. One of them is two-factor authentication which is a way to enter a code even after you enter the password.
So if you have lost your password for some reason, you can still not lose your data because it is impossible to enter the account with that particular authentication code.
For those using an Apple device, they require 2FA or two-factor authentication for getting inside their Apple ID which can become tedious at times. So there is thankfully an easier way to disable 2FA for your device.
How to turn off two-factor authentication for your Apple device
So the way to turn off your two-factor authentication on your Apple device is quite simple and it will work across all your devices since it is tied to your Apple ID and not to any particular device such as iPhone, iPad or Mac.
- Find the email sent to you by Apple which is called the “two-factor authentication enrollment email” sent to you on the same email ID where you have set up Apple ID.
- At the end of this email, you will find a link which reverts you to previous security settings for your Apple ID.
- Click on this link and follow on-screen instructions to revert back to the previous state and disable 2-Factor Authentication.
