One of the most talked-about smartphones in recent history is the Samsung Galaxy S series. We will also go as far as saying that this year’s Samsung Galaxy S series is the most hyped smartphone launch event in the history of Samsung. This is because we really see a buzz around the smartphones after all the recent leaks and rumours regarding the device.
Also, we now have enough evidence to confirm that the next Samsung Galaxy S series will be the S20 series and not S11 series. In the S20 series from Samsung, we will see a Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra. As far as the naming pattern goes, it is obvious that the Ultra variant will have the most powerful specifications whereas the Galaxy S20 will be an entry-level variant in this series.
Now, we neither have confirmed reports regarding Galaxy S20 and the S20 Ultra. However, we do have our first leaked live photo of what XDA-Developers claims is the Galaxy S20+. Yes, the device which is mid-tier in this year’s Samsung Galaxy S20 series has been leaked. And from the confidence the publication has in its leak, we believe that this will be the real deal. Looking at the device, we can see that there will be a hole-punch on the front as previously revealed.
On the back, we will see a rectangular camera setup which was leaked as well. However, there will be four camera sensors inside it along with a mic and flash on either side. All in all, we are seeing a trend in the industry of going towards the rectangular camera design like iPhone 11 series and Pixel 4 series. While we are not a fan of this design, this is what we are going to see for the entire year so we should rather embrace it.
