How to Turn ON Guest Mode?
Now, you’ve got a basic idea on, what is guest mode. To enable it, various smartphones has different methods. Most commonly, you can do that by following the steps given below.
- Swipe down on the screen to pull down the Quick settings screen.
- Touch the user icon on the upper right corner of the screen.
- Then, tap the Add guest icon.
- Now, you’ve successfully enabled the guest mode in your android smartphone.
How to Turn OFF Guest Mode?
After he returned your smartphone, now you have to switch back to the user mode by following the steps given below (It is quite same as the above steps.)
- Swipe down on the screen to pull dow the Quick settings screen.
- Touch the user icon on the upper right corner of the screen.
- Then, tap the Remove Guest icon.

Another Method of enabling the Guest mode
Some smartphones like, Xiaomi devices will not come with such user icons on the drop down screen. To enable the guest mode in such smartphones, just follow these steps.
- Go to the ‘Settings’ screen.
- Tap on ‘Privacy’ option.
- Then choose ‘Permissions.’
- Now, simply enable the Guest mode. Be sure to also enable the password (Option will be just under the Guest mode option) for the guest mode switching. Otherwise, the users can easily turn it off.
