1. Update Google Play Services to the latest version

If the latest version of Androidd available, you could also try updating your OS. If you want, you could also try updating the Google Play Services manually.

2. Clear the Google Play Services cache

The Google Play Services app installed in your smartphone acts as a framework for all the Google and Google Play apps installed. After a long time usage, cleaning up its cache to see if that would fix the issue. To clear the Google Play Services cache, follow the simple steps given below.

  1. Go to Settings > Apps.
  2. Navigate to All apps and then to “Google Play Services” app.
  3. Open the app details and tap on the “Force stop” button.
  4. Tap on the “Clear cache” button to finish the process.

3. Clear the Google Services Framework cache

Like the above mentioned one, the Google Services Framework system app on Android devices stores information and helps it to sync information with Google servers. It is essential to keep your Google Play Services up and running. Any conflict with this app could be the reasons why you are not able to connect to Google servers and keep getting the error message. To fix this, clear the Google Services Framework cache by following these steps.

  1. Go to Settings > Apps.
  2. Navigate to All apps and then to “Google Services Framework” app.
  3. Open the app details and tap on the “Force stop” button.
  4. Tap on the “Clear cache” button to clear the cache.

4. Check your Internet connection

If any of the above methods didn’t work, it might be your WiFi network is blocking any of the IP addresses that Google use. So search for any such blocks in your device and also try switching the WiFi or mobile data on or off.
