Here’s How you Can Hide App Folder Names in iOS

Here's How you Can Hide App Folder Names in iOS

There are two type of smartphone users, ones who like to keep their phones simple and others who like to customize them. Now, if you are one of the later smartphone users then Android is the best option for you.

However, if you are using iOS than also we have something of hope for you. You must have seen people organizing their folders with same colored icons and then naming the folder on that color. But, we now have a way with which you can entirely hide the names of folders in iOS.

Now, we know that Apple doesn’t allow leaving the folder names blank by default. Though, we can still keep them blank by using a little trick. This trick is naming the folder with a blank space which means you have named the folder.

However, it is a blank space so there is no name to show. There is still a catch here though. We have to name the folder with the Unicode character of a Braille blank space because the normal blank space still counts as empty in iOS. Now, you need to copy the “blank space” in the () brackets from below

(⠀)//Copy the blank space between the brackets and enter it in your folder name

After this, your folder will be named but it is a blank space so no name will be shown. This is how you can hide App Folder Names in iOS. Also, we advise you to copy this brackets in any note-keeping app such as Notes for iOS.

Other than that, we have come to know that iOS 12 now allows empty home screen as well. This means that you can use the first page on your iOS device as the home screen and the other apps will remain on the next screen.
