Apple Released WatchOS 5 Version, A Better Update To Fix Minor Bugs

Apple WatchOS 5 update released

Apple today released a minor update of watchOS 5, specifically 5.0.1, which aims to correct minor bugs related to activity rings or device loading. This Apple watchOS 5.0.1 is some small update out of the ordinary that solves various problems of the original version (watchOS 5.0.0) of last week and that does not bring any important news.

Although by now there are no great details, we can say that watchOS 5.0.1 is a minor update and focuses on correcting errors that have been discovered since the watchOS 5 update.

Even, according to the apple company, watchOS 5.0.1 addresses a problem that caused a “small number of users” to see consigned more minutes of the exercise they actually did. In addition, this version solves a problem that could prevent Apple Watch from loading and improves the measurement of the minutes that we are standing, since some users saw it as not registering them correctly.

WatchOS 5, is the latest update of the Apple Watch operating system, which came with a series of new features for Apple’s smartwatch. Due to the above, it has new sporting challenges, a Walkie-Talkie mode with real-time push-to-talk communication, support for Siri shortcuts, new watch spheres and many other novelties.

The update to watchOS 5.0.1 is now available. You just have to go to General → Software Update and from there accept the update, which will be installed on your Apple Watch. Remember that the AppleWatch must be near the iPhone and install the updates.

For Apple watchOS 3 and watchOS 4, it took more than a month for an OS update, so we have to wait a month for watchOS 5.1. Normally the x1 versions of watchOS have come out at the end of October.

Remember that watchOS five is now free for all prototypes of AppleWatch – except the original or “series 0” presented in 2015 – and is a breakthrough for the operating system of our AppleWatch.
