Diffrence between http and https

What is the difference between HTTP and HTTPS: Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is a system for transmitting and receiving information across the Internet. HTTP and HTTPS are possessed many differences. HTTPS is more secure and SEO friendly than the HTTP. Many bloggers and professionals prefer HTTPS.

What is HTTP?

HTTP stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol. When you enter an HTTP-based we address in the browser, it connects to the HTTP based server.

What is HTTPS?

HTTPS stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure, it is the secure version of HTTP. When you enter an HTTPS-based we address in the browser, it connects to an HTTPS-based server.

The Main Difference Between http:// and https://

“s”  is for secure. It’s all about keeping you secure. When you see http:// in the browser bar, it means the website is talking to your browser using the unsecured language. HTTP follows some basic protocols. The basic difference between HTTP and HTTPS is the ‘port’. Which is 80 for HTTP and 443 for HTTPS? When using an HTTPS connection, the server responds to the initial connection by offering a list of encryption methods it supports.

In order to host HTTPS connections, a server must have a public key certificate. which embeds key information with a verification of the key owner’s identity. Most certificates are verified by a third party so that clients are assured that the key is secure. HTTPS can secure for preventing unauthorized access. It works like a proxy server. HTTPS is really just the use  Secure Socket Layer (SSL).
