How to Check Your AirPods Battery Life on an Android Phone

How to Check Your AirPods Battery Life on an Android Phone

AirPods are exclusively designed for iPhones. Their design is good, wireless and fits in almost every ear. AirPods is a cool pair of wireless earphones for every music lover. Apart from iPhone compatibility, Android is also a great companion for the AirPods. The only downside of the Android-AirPods combination is checking the levels of battery percentage. As Apple designed AirPods battery level checking on iPhone and other iOS devices, this feature won’t available when you use it on Android.

The AirPod comes in a carrying case -white of course- that doubles as a charging point good for all day charging, and that magnetically locks in the AirPod so that not even a bouncy ride in a desert dune buggy can shake them loose. Its closing lids are additionally magnetic, ensuring further device protection and durability. And did we mention how oh-so-small it is and able to fit into practically any pocket?

Thankfully, there is an app available where it shows the remaining battery percentage of the AirPods on any Android smartphone. Let’s take a detailed look at the app features below.

What is AirBattery?

AirBattery, is a free app available in Google Play store for checking AirPods battery status on Android. Once the app is installed, open your AirPods charging case will launch a pop-up window on your Android smartphone that displays battery life left on the AirPods’.

There’s also a lock screen notification to display battery life, but it is a paid feature and you’ll have to pay for the app’s Pro mode to unlock.

This app works only when the Pods are in the charging case. Because charging case doesn’t have a built-in Bluetooth chip and you can’t check the remaining battery status until you insert in the case.

Apart from AirPods, this app also supports BeatX, Power beats3 and Beats Solo3 headphones.
