Microsoft also announced that Windows 10 will be the last version of Windows. This means that the company will release updates but under the name of Windows 10.

However, there is one major issue with the latest version of Windows 10 which is causing trouble for many users using Windows. If you are facing issues with frequent disconnection of your Wifi network then you are one of the Windows 10 users facing this bug.
Basically, you will see that your Wifi is connected on PC or Laptop but your Internet is not working. You will see an error in your network connections panel where it is mentioned that your WiFi is connected but No internet connection is available. In order to fix this, you need to first make sure that your WiFi is working properly so do this by checking if your smartphone and other devices are connected to the WiFi.

How to Fix WiFi Connected But No Internet on Windows 10
1. Reboot your Router or Modem
Also, you need to try the basic solutions first of all as well. For instance, if you are facing this problem then you should try and reboot your PC and see if the problem is fixed or not. Also, you should switch off your modem and WiFi router and turn it on after 15-20 seconds and see if the problem is fixed.
- First, reboot your router or switch off the router for a few minutes and turn it on.
- On the other hand, forget the Wifi network on your PC/Laptop and connect it again by entering the password.
2. Delete Temp files
If you are facing the above-mentioned problem and you are not able to fix the issue with a reboot then you need to delete the temporary files that are stored on your PC. To do this, press Windows Key + X simultaneously and click on File Explorer option.
Now, type C:\Windows\temp in the address bar located at the top and press Enter to go to the location.
In the Temp folder, you just need to select all the files and delete them by pressing Ctrl + A to select all and pressing the Delete button. This will not affect any of your Windows files so you can delete them with ease.

3. Reset DNS (Domain Name Server)
One possible solution to this Windows 10 problem is resetting DNS also termed as Domain Name Server. This means that you are resetting the default DNS on your PC and setting the DNS to one from Open DNS or Google DNS.
In order to reset DNS, right-click on WiFi symbol and click on Open Network and Sharing Center. After that, click on Change Adapter Settings and locate your WiFi network.
Here, right-click on WiFi and select Properties, go to Internet Protocol Version 4 and click on Properties once again.
Now, click on Use the following DNS server addresses and type 8.8.8.8 in the Preferred DNS server field. Also, type 8.8.4.4 in the Alternate DNS server field. Click on Ok and restart PC to check if the problem has been fixed.
4. Troubleshoot using Command Prompt
If the problem is not solved yet, you need to enter some commands in your command prompt window to solve this issue. To open Command Prompt, press Windows + R and type cmd. Now, the command prompt window will be opened.
In this window, type the following commands one by one:
ipconfig/flushdns
nbtstat -R
nbtstat -RR
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
netsh winsock reset
Press enter after typing every command and then restart your PC so that the changes can take place. This should solve your WiFi problems most of the times but if the problem is still not resolved then check for more solutions below
5. Update Drivers on your PC
Once your problem is not solved even after the Command Prompt method, you need to update the device drivers. For this, right-click on the WiFi icon and click on Network and Internet Settings.
After this, go to Change Adapter Options and right-click on your WiFi and click on Properties. Here, go to the Driver tab inside Properties and click on Update Driver option and see if any driver updates are available. If yes, update the drivers and restart your PC. By this time, your problem should have been solved. If it is still not resolved, you have one last option to fix this issue which is mentioned below
5. Uninstall Antivirus software
We have noticed that many users who have not been able to solve this issue with the solutions mentioned above have McAfee Antivirus software installed. Therefore, we did some research and found out that McAfee is causing internet issues on some PCs.
For this reason, we would recommend that you should uninstall McAfee Antivirus if you are facing this problem and check if the problem is solved or not. Now, we are also surprised as you are with the fact that McAfee causes this problem but it somehow does.
But, you should keep it uninstalled till McAfee fixes this issue. Otherwise, you can also try and reinstall McAfee antivirus which means that you can get the latest version of the program
